Songwriter and producer Strama has started of 2022 strong with her first single 'Milk and Honey'. Strama, the Jazz infused alternative R&B sounding song should be on your radar for this year!
There is a clear dark undertone and theme of the song yet this does not seem to dampen the spirit of 'Milk and Honey' as there is a light and rhythmic sense to the single.
Speaking on her single 'Milk and Honey' Strama says: “Given the times, it can be difficult to speak about grief. It’s very personal and confrontational, but I hope people find comfort in the song during their own different stages of sadness.”
“I’ve always loved Latin American Jazz, and more specifically Bossa nova music. I grew up listening to João Gilberto and Astrud Gilberto religiously. There’s a special intimacy and warmth this kind of music draws out that you don’t often find elsewhere.”
